It was great to see so many people get involved as actors and crew (and of course, audience members) for our annual performance of 4 Scenes and A Cup of Tea, on June 12th. We were able to hold two performances this year due to the hard work of Dan Needles, Anne Raciunas, and Janet Wilkinson. Kudos to all of you for a job well done.

Gaslight Greetings – August 2020
Hello All: I hope you are keeping safe and well. You've perhaps noticed that several other community theatres have cancelled their Fall runs. The Theatre Community is waiting patiently to see what a gradual re-opening could possibly look like. For those who are interested, Anne Currie-O'Brien kindly shared this Community Theatre Reopening Guide. A lot of work and thought has gone into this guide, compiled and edited by Lynda Muir...
Gaslight Greetings – June 2020
Hello All, I hope you are staying safe and well during these trying times. We held a board meeting last night and we were faced with the difficult task of making a decision about the future of Gaslight Community Theatre Productions. After a lengthy discussion, it was decided that we will need to postpone the October 2020 Tour until October 2021. We understand that this decision will be disappointing news for our venue owners, cast and team...

We were fortunate to be able to complete our Page to Stage scene writing...

Gaslight Greetings – from Laurie May – January 2020
First and foremost, I would like to thank Monica Wilson for her contributions, as our Executive Producer, over the past four years. I have discovered that even though Monica made the Executive Producer position look easy… indeed it is not. Monica worked with such efficiency and patience that we were hardly aware of the intensity of her important role. As many of you know, Monica will be remaining on the Board of Directors as our Secretary. She...

Town of Collingwood Land Acknowledgement:
For more than 15,000 years the First Nations walked upon, and cared for, the lands we now call home: Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Ojibwe, and many others who cared for their families and communities, the way we now seek to care for ours.
The Town of Collingwood acknowledges the Lake Simcoe-Nottawasaga Treaty of 1818 and respects all of the Nation-to-Nation agreements that have formed relationships with the original inhabitants of Turtle Island; the reality of our shared history; the current contributions of Indigenous people within our community and seeks to continue empowering expressions of pride amongst all of the diverse stakeholders in this area.
We seek to do better, to continue to recognize, learn, and grow, in friendship and community, Nation-to-Nation.
